With a mission to inspire young people to adopt a bold, modern, and free-spirited lifestyle, the second edition of Saigon Urban Street Fest features the empowering theme “Be Love Be Free.” The festival offers an open, creative playground that celebrates the essence of street art. The theme encourages youth to express their individuality and break free from boundaries, both in thought and action.

Warming Up for Saigon Urban Street Fest with Young Feast . Non-toxic
As a prelude to Saigon Urban Street Fest, artLIVE is teaming up with AEON MALL Tan Phu Celadon to launch Young Feast . Non-toxic – a vibrant festival of street art culture for youth and families. The event will take place from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on November 2 and 3 at AEON MALL Tan Phu Celadon, featuring a dynamic lineup of activities designed to energize and inspire ahead of the main festival.

The themeYoung Feast . Non-toxic draws inspiration from “Non-toxic” living, a core value of the Green Lifestyle movement aimed at building a healthier, happier life. Non-toxic here means more than just using safe products; it’s a mindset and way of living that promotes both physical well-being and mental clarity. It encourages people to stay away from toxic thoughts, use eco-friendly and organic products, stay active through walking and cycling, and transform public spaces into creative art zones.
The event features a vibrant lineup of street art activities across distinctively styled zones:
- artLIVE Graffiti Championship (AGC): For the first time, graffiti artists are given a dedicated arena to showcase their talent and compete. Young Feast . Non-toxic will host the Top 15 artists as they transform the garage walls of AEON MALL Tan Phu Celadon into large-scale murals. From here, the Top 5 will be selected to advance to the AGC Grand Finale at Saigon Urban Street Fest by artLIVE 2024, taking place from December 6 to 8 at the Saigon Central Post Office. The competition is supported by Vietnam Vincent Art, a trusted brand in fine art and graffiti supplies. Emerging fashion labels KEITOTHEMENACE and Croon are also partnering to provide exclusive prizes for the Top 10, Top 5, and Top 3 contestants.
- Check-in Zone: Visitors can explore stylish photo spots from the ground floor to the rooftop and receive complimentary gifts from AEON MALL Tan Phu Celadon.
- Street Style Stage: The stage comes alive with energetic performances from rock band The Black Roses, street dance crew Kallus, and DJ Light Huy.
- Rooftop Skatepark: For the first time, young urban sports enthusiasts can experience skateboarding, rollerblading, and BMX biking in a one-of-a-kind rooftop setting. A variety of mini-challenges will be open for participation throughout the day.

At Young Feast . Non-toxic held at AEON MALL Tan Phu Celadon and Saigon Urban Street Fest at Saigon Central Post Office, visitors will witness graffiti come to life in real-time. From the very first sketch to the final brushstroke, guests can follow each artist’s creative journey up close, revealing the mystery and magic behind every mural.

Sharing his thoughts on the competition, Khang Huynh – judge of the artLIVE Graffiti Championship 2024 – said:
“After learning more about the purpose and vision behind this competition, I felt genuinely excited and optimistic. As we all know, graffiti in Vietnam is often portrayed negatively in the media, so I see this contest as a bright spot, an opportunity for people to recognize the positive side of graffiti and appreciate the young artists who are actively and responsibly contributing to the scene.
Beyond shifting public perception, I believe this is also a great chance for young graffiti artists to sharpen their skills, push their creative boundaries, engage in peer exchange, and potentially open doors to professional opportunities.
I hope all participants bring their full energy to this ‘battle’, true to the fierce and passionate spirit of graffiti. And as a graffiti artist myself, I also hope the organizers will provide the best possible conditions so these young talents can perform at their best.”
