A few words about artist Ha Vu – founder of HAVU Art Studio
With a long-cherished dream, artist Ha Vu founded HAVU Art Studio in August 2021, just two months after the young girl came to Saigon. She is currently studying for a master’s degree at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts.
Painter Ha Vu is a gentle girl from Hanoi. Passionate about drawing since childhood and supported by her family, the female artist wishes to convey her passion and personal thoughts through her paintings. Her creative journey is not only a process of learning and practicing art but also a journey of constant search for creativity.
Through each step of learning and experience, artist Ha Vu increasingly desires to create more, aiming to introduce and bring art closer to everyone. Therefore, the mission of HAVU Art Studio is not only to create beautiful works but also to open the door for people to share and sympathize with their own emotions and thoughts through art.
HAVU Art Studio is not only a place to express creativity but also a source of artistic energy, spreading beauty through works full of emotions and passion for painting. Artist Ha Vu constantly strives to bring everyone the most unique and intimate art experiences.
HAVU Art Studio – A small place for art
HAVU Art Studio, a sophisticated space with an area of 30m2, nestled in a quiet alley of District 2. For artist Ha Vu, this place not only brings peace but also harmoniously combines with the excitement of the city, creating a space that is both quiet and full of art.
The studio is where the female artist puts her heart into her artworks, while creating a unique combination with two famous places, Quan Bui and Laang, to spread the beauty of art to everyone.
HAVU Art Studio – Integrated Art Space
HAVU Art Studio is not only a creative space but also a place to organize unique art events such as exhibitions, art shows and workshops organized by artist Ha Vu herself or other young artists. Built with a professional mindset, HAVU Art Studio is not only a place to meet and exchange but also an academic environment to share stories, experiences and learn from colleagues in the art field.
Since its establishment, HAVU Art Studio has organized many art experience workshops focusing on two materials: oil wax and linocut printing. In addition, small art shows and exhibitions have also taken place, collaborating with talented young artists. Certainly, in the near future, HAVU Art Studio will organize more quality art events, meeting the expectations of art lovers in Ho Chi Minh City.
In the exhibitions that have taken place, artist Ha Vu introduced to everyone his own solo exhibition and an art show of the group of young artists K25 of Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts including artist Ha Vu, artist Thanh Ny, artist Tuan Huynh, artist Tuan De and artist Cop Verte.
In particular, in April 2023, HAVU Art Studio collaborated with the e-commerce platform CHUS in a special event, introducing Vietnamese handmade products made locally. An important step to honor and develop the country’s unique art.
