artLIVE – On April 22, 2025, the ‘Epson International Pano Awards 2025’ photography competition officially entered its 16th season, continuing its journey to honor visual arts and cutting-edge post-production techniques in panoramic photography.
The EPSON International Pano Awards is organized by Epson printers on a global scale exclusively for panoramic photography. In 2025, the prize value has increased to US$50,000 – including US$15,000 in cash and a prize package for the Open category Champion (Open winner) worth over $11,000.

The company focuses on solving social problems through innovations in home and office printing, commercial and industrial printing, manufacturing, presentation and lifestyle.

Photos preserved as ‘world cultural heritage‘
In 2024, the competition received 4,529 entries from 1,105 professional and amateur photographers from 95 countries. Most notably, the number of entries from Southeast Asian countries increased by 70%, including Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines. With the theme revolving around natural beauty and the ability to tell stories through images, The Pano Awards is a great playground for the photography community around the world with a subtle combination of vision – technique – and emotion in the genre of panorama photography.
This year, Hong Kong photographer Kelvin Yuen with the works “Power of Nature”, “Wild” and “Sacred Mountain”. In particular, the work “The Power of Nature” also won the Second Prize and the highest position in the Nature/Landscape category.



In particular, the work ‘Chrysanthemum season’ taken by photographer Nguyen Tan Tuan using a Flycam device (a remote-controlled aircraft for taking photos and videos) in Sa Dec flower village (Dong Thap) has excellently won the Second Prize overall, and also ranked first in two categories: Open Environment and Epson Digital Art Award.
Anh Tuan shared: “The last month of the lunar year is the harvest season. When coming here, visitors will be attracted by the sight of endless rows of yellow flowers. Therefore, every year during the harvest season, I often come here to admire and take pictures of the beauty This impressive beauty. Using Flycam, I captured pictures of the craft village here, the scene of people farming and harvesting by boat next to the beautiful flower trellis.“

This year, the prestigious jury brings together the world’s leading names such as Merche Llobera – Amateur Photographer of the Year in the 2023 season, two Open Photographers of the Year, Kelvin Yuen in the 2024 season and Matt Jackisch in the 2020 season, along with many other veteran industry leaders.
The Epson International Pano Awards 2025 is now open for entries. Early-bird applications run until Monday, June 30, 2025. The final deadline for submissions is Monday, July 21, 2025.
